How to Preserve Opened Liquid Nail

Liquid nail is widely used because of its strong viscosity. It is a commonly used item in the home for yourself. If you only use a few parts of glue, you won't be able to use up a whole bottle of liquid nail. Then you put away the remaining liquid nail and plan to use it next time. After a period of time, you will find that the opened liquid nail evaporates or solidifies. At this point, the liquid nail has lost its effectiveness and cannot be squeezed out of the bottle. The liquid nail cannot be used after evaporation or solidification, it can only be thrown away or treated in other ways.

Therefore, in order to avoid waste and pollution, it is necessary to properly preserve the opened liquid nail. 

The main reason why the opened liquid nail evaporates or solidifies is that the liquid nail comes into contact with the air. Therefore, the key to the preservation of liquid nail is that the glue needs to be completely isolated from the air, and it must be sealed when preserving liquid nail. So without taking off the nozzle, just seal the nozzle tightly with sealing tape to reduce the contact between liquid nail and air. If you follow this approach, only part of the liquid nail in the nozzle will solidify. When using, you can cut off the cured part or replace a new nozzle and continue to use it.

The storage temperature of nail-free glue  is 10 to 22 degrees Celsius in a cool and dry place. So do opened liquid nail, and opened liquid nail cannot exposure to heat or strong light. When the outdoor temperature exceeds 27 degrees Celsius, you need to put the liquid nail in the refrigerator for refrigeration. Only take it out when you want to use it.
